Principal Research Services Professional - 34887 University Staff **Description** **University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus** **Department: Adult and Child Center for Outcomes Research and Delivery Science** **Job Title: Principal Research Services Professional** **Position: #00827492 – Requisition: #34887** **Job Summary:** **30% - Project Management** + Develop robust study plans to ensure data collection is consistent, timely and reliable across all study sites. + Ensure the overall project schedule and planning align with planned study milestones (including clinical trials.gov and COMIRB needs). + Develop creative and integrative solutions for managing data collection, retention, and interventions to meet study deadlines, budget, and to sustain productivity. + Develop and continuously update intervention and data collection materials and protocols. + Manage the delivery of incentives to participants by providing leadership to study staff as the point person for questions, or issues in the gift card system. + Serve as a liaison with internal study team members and facilitate communication across a large multi-disciplinary and multi-site study. + Collaborate with community partners and primary care clinics to facilitate recruitment and retention of study participants at multiple study sites across the United States. **30% Recruitment and Data Collection** + Lead efforts to retain study participants over the course of study participation, which includes: developing and overseeing outreach processes, coordinating schedules, tracking progress and reporting results to Project Director and PI, and updating REDCap databases + Engage in data collection with participants, including collect anthropometric, survey data, ecological momentary assessment (EMA) data, video-recorded meals, dietary recalls, etc. virtually or in person from families participating in the study. + Train other staff in data collection as the "gold standard" for specific measurements (e.g., anthropometrics, dietary recalls, video-recorded meals, etc.). **20% - Data Management and Monitoring** + Maintain and update the databases and monitor to ensure data integrity and quality. One study intervenes with families with young children around their family meals using innovative technology (i.e., ecological momentary intervention and video feedback) and in-person education.
