We are looking for you to join our team as a Principal Quality Analyst (Calibration) based out of Sunnyvale, CA.
The Principal Quality Analyst (Calibration) calibrates electronic test measuring equipment and signal generating equipment to conform to set standards. Tests, calibrates, adjusts, and maintains electromechanical, mechanical, optical, pneumatic, hydro mechanical, and pressure-type measuring and indicating instruments. Sets up calibration sequences, methods and procedures according to detailed specifications, blueprints, drawings, and requirements. Disassembles, cleans, repairs, and replaces defective parts of test equipment such as pressure gauges and tension meters. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

Ability to interact with internal buyers and vendors for any issue that relates to the calibration.Ability to work in collaborative team environment.Ability to make precise adjustments while calibrating Monitoring and Measuring Equipment.Review all certifications that came with tools and upload all the certs into the Recall Calibration Data Base System (TEAMMS).Initiate Purchase Requests (PR) for sending tools out to vendors for calibration.Maintain and track all tools sent externally for calibration.Review and update Calibration procedures that relate to the labs (as required).Review and update all Status Change Requests forms submitted by internal tool users.Process Equipment Performance Reports (EPR) generated from the Lab Technicians.Basic Qualifications for a Principal Quality Analyst (Calibration):
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience to include metrology and calibration experience (an additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).Experience in electronic and mechanical tools.Experience with Statistical Process Control techniques. Ability to lift up to 25lbsPreferred Qualifications for a Principal Quality Analyst (Calibration):
Experience using a spatial analyzer, measurement software, and CAD software.Experience with embedded software and electronics.Experience with CMM or Laser Measurement SystemsExperience with ISO 9000 and DCMAExperience in Product Inspection and Receiving InspectionExperience with Non-Destructive Tests inspection (MT, PT, visual, dimensional, etc.) on mechanical and structural components or systemsSalary Range: $91,200.00 - $136,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
