Launch your new career at Hughes and seize the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in the industry and exceed your potential. **Responsibilities:** + Manage the development, qualification, and launch of in-flight connectivity systems in compliance with industry regulations and standards. + Orchestrate product development, aircraft certification and product delivery to ensure all customer requirements are captured and managed within the scope of internal and third-party supplier teams. + Oversee linefit projects to integrate connectivity systems seamlessly for installation during the aircraft production process. + Lead the overall relationship with airline customers and airframe manufacturers through the development and launch phase of the product lifecycle. + Manage strong relationships with vendors, partners, and key stakeholders, providing regular updates and ensuring their needs and expectations are met. + Work with internal stakeholders to implement rigorous quality control processes to guarantee the reliability, performance, and safety of in-flight connectivity systems. + Identify potential risks in program execution and develop mitigation plans to drive risks to closure. + Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives to establish best practices within the organization. + Anticipate and proactively address programmatic, technical, and implementation issues that arise during project development. + Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring cost control and resource allocation. **Basic Requirements:** + Bachelor’s degree in engineering, aerospace, business administration, or a related field. + 8+ years of relevant work experience. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Master’s degree in engineering, aerospace, business administration, or a related field. + Prior experience with linefit and retrofit programs in the aviation industry + Experience managing phases of the aviation product lifecycle, including design, development, testing, certification, production, maintenance and support. + Experience managing STC projects with FAA or EASA. + Ability to influence a variety of stakeholders to establish concurrence. + Proficiency in project management software and tools. Will be eligible for discretionary bonus, with funding based on company performance. The base pay range shown is a guideline.
