As Principal Program Manager for AWS HR, you’ll be responsible for owning and managing the HR scope in AWS-specific HR initiatives and big bets, mechanisms, cadences, data metrics & analytics, documents (business reviews, organization review documents, minutes, etc.), budget and headcount request, process improvement programs and projects, and overall HR Leadership Team project and program support. This role has direct partnership with AWS HRBP organization and COEs, but also partners extremely closely with the AWS business and Amazon’s central HR. Specific initiatives this year will including building and executing AWS’s region growth expansion, developing cultural assimilation strategies and developing an operational support model to reduce burden on line Human Resources. In addition, this individual will establish reporting dashboard and metrics to measure the success of the programs and track performance. They will also be able to work on ad hoc HR Projects that will come up on an as needed basis.
