Principal Program Manager, Cost Optimization

Job Summary

Are you a seasoned leader with a passion for driving transformative change to optimize cost? Join Personal System Operations (PSO) team as a Principal Program Manager! In this role, you will lead and coordinate cross-functional workstreams for a high-impact global Cost Optimization initiative. You will play a key role in integrating with multiple workstreams, facilitating alignment across organizations. You will also craft compelling presentations to update project progress, approach and provide recommendations, and support Senior Executives in critical decision-making, and ensure successful implementation of change management strategies. 

Responsibilities

Establish and Implement a Project Management Framework: Develop and maintain a robust framework to ensure efficient project execution across multiple workstreams, leveraging interdependencies and proactively mitigating risks.Drive Cross-Workstream Project Updates: Collaborate with global workstream owners across North America, Asia, and Europe, to prepare and deliver regular updates on project progress, ensuring transparency and escalating critical issues to senior executives for prompt resolution.Facilitate Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead collaborative discussions with senior management across key business units and functions (including procurement, design, product marketing, engineering, and category teams) to drive alignment on critical decisions and process improvements.Executive Reporting Create high-quality content tailored for C-suite stakeholders to effectively communicate initiative progress, key milestones, and overall impact.Provide Strategic Thought Leadership: Develop innovative strategies to accelerate the disposition of existing cost optimization funnel items and expand the funnel with high-impact opportunities.Enhance Data Visualization: Offer guidance on data visualization to improve the clarity, effectiveness, and impact of insights and recommendations.

Education & Experience Recommended

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.10+ years of work experience in supply chain, operations, project management, or a related field; Management consulting experience preferred.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Effective communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation, presentation, and influencing. Strong expertise in storyboarding and developing compelling presentation.Problem-solver: Ability to “lean in” to challenges, applying critical thinking to develop solutions and resolve conflicts in complex, cross-functional and global initiatives.Strong interpersonal skills: Skilled at relationship building, fostering collaboration, and influencing stakeholders at all levels within the organization.Strategic thinker: Exceptional strategic thinking to develop structured, analytical approaches to strategy formulation, business solutions, and process improvements..Learning agility: Embodies a continuous learning mindset. Displays strong motivation to acquire functional and industry knowledge to improve professional contributions.Self-motivated: Highly driven and capable of working independently while actively contributing to team success.Digital fluency: Proficiency in MS Office suite of tools with particular expertise in PowerPoint.Industry knowledge preferred.

The base pay range for this role is $154,000 to $237,150 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only).  Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
