Principal Product Manager - Technical, Kindle Software
Are you an experienced product leader with a passion for shipping great products? Are you inspired by re-inventing how people digitally consume written content? Do you like the idea of seeing your work impact millions of customers? Do you love to read? Answer yes to any of these and you belong with Amazon Kindle and Books. Kindle is among the bestselling products in the history of Amazon, with a rich legacy for driving customer-focused innovation. Our continued growth requires leaders who operate both strategically and tactically; think big to drive new opportunities; dive deep in data to uncover customer insights; break down and solve complex problems; and drive operational excellence for their teams.

Kindle is looking for a Principal PM-T to set the strategy for how millions of readers worldwide share and organize their digital libraries. Using customer insights and data-driven decision making, you'll develop intuitive features that help customers leverage content relationships to organize increasingly complex libraries across multiple devices and use cases, simplify family sharing, and have full confidence in the privacy of their content. Your work will directly impact how readers and writers interact with their most loved books, documents and notes, ultimately making reading more accessible and enjoyable for all Kindle customers. This role is inherently cross-functional; you will work closely with engineering, design, research, analytics and more to bring your vision to life, and ultimately deliver a delightful experience to our customers. If you're passionate about both the future of reading and building products that become an essential part of people's daily lives, this role offers you the chance to make a lasting impact on how people engage with the written word in the digital age.

• Drive product launches including working with public relations team, executives, legal, marketing, customer service and other product management team members.
• Role is global in nature and will work with teams in other countries.
