Principal Product Manager-Tech, Federal AWS Compute
As a Principal Product Manager, you will drive the strategy, roadmap, and partnerships, as well as outbound business and messaging to scale and evolve AWS Compute in Amazon Dedicated Clouds for U.S. Government customers.

You will look across the EC2, VPC, EBS, Outposts, Lambda, ECS, and EKS service portfolios, working backwards from the customer to understand the capabilities and experience AWS will offer customers and developers. This includes end-to-end product responsibility to define our long-term vision, drive engineering priorities, and make roadmap tradeoffs to deliver new functionality. You will work with internal AWS services and infrastructure teams to understand the unique challenges and constraints of our business, and define the right product strategy and solutions to tackle them. Other key areas of responsibility are defining new product opportunities and driving AWS Compute’s vision in the Federal market, while collaborating closely with the technical field (sales specialists, solutions architects, and professional services) community to ensure AWS Compute has the correct positioning to enables compelling customer use cases.

The successful candidate will form a strategy that gets to the core of what customers value, set priorities that move that strategy forward, and exert influence to align diverse stakeholders, both internal and external. Candidates should enjoy working in a collaborative, analytical, and fast-paced environment and be comfortable interacting with technical, cross-functional teams. Candidates must dive deep into data, have strong writing and oral presentation skills, and be comfortable leading executive-level reviews. This is a strategic position that will impact the direction of AWS Compute going forward.

The candidate selected must a US Citizen and obtain and maintain a security clearance at the TS/SCI with polygraph level. Upon start, the selected candidate will be sponsored for a commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.
