We are looking for a new team member who can bring product-market viability ideas and enable human-centered practices that inspire, innovate, and deliver elevated experiences for our customers and products.

The Principal Product Manager – Connected Store plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of our connected store experiences and in-store technology ecosystem. Your expertise will be crucial in connecting the dots across various product teams and portfolios to shape a holistic experience for our Athletes and Teammates, as well as a more connected, measurable and integrated platform for our business.

In this role you will partner across the organization to empower our teammates with new handheld technology, enabling them to become better coaches and advisors, unlock the power of our Athletes' data in stores and across the chain to create more personalized and impactful experiences, and inspire Athletes with new interactive, digital content formats and experiences, further enhancing their engagement and satisfaction.

You'll work in partnership with product managers, technology leaders and designers within the store technology portfolio, and partner across the organization with stakeholders from marketing, pricing, visual merchandising, and store operations. Together, you'll ensure that our sales and service culture thrives, driving better merchandising and creating a more personalized and impactful experience for our athletes.

Your leadership will be instrumental in steering our store technology portfolio through this exciting journey, helping us become better advocates for our athletes and setting new standards for in-store experiences.

As a Principal Product Manager, you will lead the product strategy efforts for highly complex, strategic enterprise programs that may span across multiple portfolios and/or products. In this role, you enable the delivery of product experiences rooted in lean product management and human-centered design principles that support current strategic priorities. Your influence and expertise enable you to promote the value of product strategy as you continue to build partnerships and alignment in support of the work you are leading.

As a product strategy leader, you provide direct oversight in the organization, interconnectedness, and delivery of high-quality products within the Technology organization.

Strategy & Communication– You are accountable for organizing and communicating a cohesive strategy with the business and your technology peers for large bodies of work. You will provide a macro view of priorities as well as executive-friendly updates on the roadmap progress, customer journey, and value delivery.

Organizational Alignment & Agility– Negotiation and cross-functional alignment with technology and business leadership is essential for the success of the work. As such, you will manage ceremonies and build/update tools to ensure key members of the organization are informed, aligned and can drive decisions on priorities and investments. As part of this effort, you will discuss necessary resource needs (or constraints), agree on the cross-functional roadmap, and determine the strategic partnerships needed to enable successful teams.

Prioritization, Planning & Execution– This role enables cross-functional teams to deliver against integrated roadmaps and sets of outcomes aligned to an enterprise strategy or program. You will work with teammates across technology and the business on a consistent basis to drive alignment and execution on priorities, setting targets for progress and managing risk across the work.

Human-Centered Advocate– Expanding our understanding, demonstration, and application of human-centered design; stakeholder exposure and involvement in customer-centric activities; and finding creative ways to influence and elevate design thinking across multiple products.

Leadership– As an Individual Contributor, you will fulfill a pivotal leadership role within the organization by bringing cross-functional teams together across technology and business to deliver highly visible, critical, and complex work. You will facilitate the execution of work through complex journeys – including partnership with product teams, program and portfolio management, stakeholders, technology partners and third parties.

Feedback– As a member of the leadership team, it is essential to provide the appropriate forums to seek feedback and understanding amongst your teams, stakeholders, and leadership to aggregate and activate this feedback in meaningful ways. When conflict arises, it is critical to resolve quickly to keep the work on track.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates for this role should have:

Superior knowledge and application of lean product management frameworks

Superior knowledge and application of product design and human-centered practices

Superior level and application of prioritization frameworks

Superior understanding of Scrum and Agile

Success in leading teams through the product lifecycle

Success in leading teams through the software development lifecycle

Superior level of experience in defining short- & long-term strategies, horizons, visions and launching excellent products, specifically enterprise programs

Experience with driving enterprise programs or highly complex bodies of work across multiple product teams or portfolios

Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and executive leadership stakeholders without formal authority

Effective management, facilitation and collaboration skills to drive alignment across organizational peers and complex stakeholder groups

Experience with driving enterprise programs or highly complex bodies of work across multiple product teams or portfolios

Ability to cross-functionally organize, motivate and mobilize teams towards working on a common goal

Superior knowledge and application of problem-solving frameworks/methodologies

This is a fully remote position.

Targeted Pay Range: $95,200.00 - $158,800.00. This is part of a competitive total rewards package that could include other components such as: incentive, equity and benefits. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
