Principal Product Manager - Azure Databricks

As a Principal Product Manager - Azure Databricks Product Management team, you will work closely with both customers and partners to enable business growth and deliver on the roadmap. You will work closely across cross-functional teams such as busines, marketing, and sales. You will work together with engineering teams to ensure timely launch of products and product enhancements while also working with business teams to drive adoption of these products. You’ll also help in identifying long-term investment opportunities and engaging partners to garner support for those feature areas. + You will drive the team to define a feature set and execute upon it. + You will scale Product Marketing teams by building marketing and roll-out plans, as well as leading the creation of customer support plans. You’ll also take advantage of major opportunities to promote the feature areas you worked on and present at large events. + You will guide teams to partner with others to collect performance metrics and form hypotheses for technical needs in order to improve product development in specific areas. You’ll also coach teams to manage customer communities and build trust with targeted customers. + Leads governance programs and processes to ensure that specific performance requirements and standards are met throughout the development lifecycle (e.g., quality, compliance privacy, security, safety, accessibility). **Qualifications** **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development + OR equivalent experience. + 5+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects. + 2+ years of experience with data analytics **Other Requirements:** + Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development + OR equivalent experience. + 8+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects. Product Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $137,600 - $267,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $180,400 - $294,000 per year.
