Your Impact:

We are looking for a motivated and passionate Principal Product Manager who thrives on new technology and the ability to drive change. As part of a global team of Product Managers, you will be responsible for shaping the AIOps strategy for Opentext AI Ops and Observability solution. Guiding a worldwide engineering team through development of evolving usage of AI and genAI in various areas of the product-- from deployment to consumption -- and solving data challenges utilizing open telemetry data and artificial intelligence, you will work closely with our Fortune 500 customers to help them adopt our AIOps solution.


What the role offers:

Drive growth of the AIOps Operations Product offering through an enhanced competitive AIOps platform and analytics solutionBuild a strong relationship to our top enterprise accounts to help shape their observability solution​Understand & model with customers the data relevant for observability solution and work with engineering on innovative AI & ML based options to provide deep actionable insights on existing or future problemsCreate winning product and solution definition and roadmap for the analytical capabilities in the productCreate and deliver User Stories to clearly articulate asks, convert them into development deliverables.Develop creative packaging and competitive pricing strategiesEnsure outbound teams and sales-channels are prepared to maximize sales of your productsManage products throughout the product lifecycle from inception through upgrades to end of lifeCollect and prioritize product requirements (from customers, competitors, partners, industry analysts, Sales, Business Development, Global Services, Customer Services and R&D)Maintain day to day contact with the software development group to refine and revise Product Specifications and implementation details, based on an agile/iterative development process; encouraging the team to innovate within the boundaries of market segments, personas, goals, and problems to solve.Work with key customers to acquire and respond to product feedback for future product releases, and communicate roadmap details.Understand product competitors and support development of competitive responses for sales and marketing.Support Sales/Customer Services/Global Services in regards to critical escalations.

What you need to succeed: 

12+ years experience in the enterprise software industry in a product management, software engineering or product deployment / usage roleB.S. in Computer Science or equivalent with software engineering background preferred; MBA or relevant master’s degree preferredMinimum 5 years experience with large data analytics, preferably in the area of analytics, AI, genAI and operations managementExcellent executive & customer communication and presentation skillsEntrepreneurial and self-motivated, business orientedStrong leadership skillsGoal driven; plans and manages toward achieving goals, anticipates problems and issues and proactively drives their resolution.Strong customer orientation and comfortable in sales situations.Experience in working in an international environment involving multiple development sites on various time zones.Demonstrated experience in business strategy, primary research, finance, negotiation and product strategyIn depth understanding of business applications and application infrastructure (web, composite apps, packaged apps, etc…) In depth understanding of private and public cloud technologies stacks and the customer challenges in operating those environments Familiarity with commercial AIOps/ITOM offerings such as ServiceNow, BigPanda, BMC, Datadog and/or Splunk is a plus. Past Experience working in Vertica, Tableau, PowerBI, SQL or equivalent technologies
