Currently we are looking for Principal Java Developer to support and work on our content platform.
What you will be doing Develop complex code based on functional specifications across teams and programs; complete logic and algorithm design in alignment with established standardsMaintain and improve codebase, data design, and best practices, including (but not limited to) performance, security, reliability, and deliverability and quality attributesUnderstand and contribute to the architecture of the software; create initial implementation standards and guidelines for projects that allow teams or programs to begin implementing them based on the technical specificationsPerform complex peer code review and analysis; provide insight on broader impact of software changesOperate as an innovative thought leader and trusted advisor across teams and programs; contribute significantly to the overall growth and quality of the department through knowledge sharing, influence of architectural design, and coaching on current best practices and market trendsIdentify and articulate the business value and broader impact of software changes to internal and external stakeholders; contribute to the prioritizationDesign, contribute to, and lead the implementation of delivery pipeline, including test automation, security, and performanceCreate development standards to ensure compliance with product and industry practices and regulationsAuthor, review, and approve technical requirements and design documentsMentor, coach, train, and provide feedback to other team members; provides feedback to leadership on technical abilities of teamAct as an escalation point and subject matter expert for the most complex production issues or software code issues to ensure the stability of the application and resolution of issuesOperate as an innovative thought leader; contribute significantly to the overall growth and quality of the department through knowledge sharing and coaching on current best practices and market trends What will make you successful Good command of English; min. B2 levelMin. 5 years of experience in a developer roleExperience with Java, Spring Boot, Maven, JAX-RSExperience with Git, Docker, Github Actions WorkflowExperience with AWS or other cloud technology (Azure, GCP)Experience with data structures, algorithms, and software design.Experience with continuous software delivery.Demonstrated experience with build environments and delivery pipelinesExperience with test automation and continuous integration toolsExperience in software application testing tools, methodologies, and process frameworkExperience working with remote and international teamsGood critical thinking and problem solving skillsGood oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tactGood collaboration skills, applied successfully within team as well as with other areasSharp, fast learner with technology curiosity and aptitudeDemonstrated ability to influence, motivate and mobilize team members and business partnersSelf-motivated with the ability to manage projects to completion with oversightAbility to work independently and in a team environmentGood attention to detailDriven to learn and stay current professionally
