Job Description

We are seeking a visionary and innovative Principal Engineer - Water to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this key role, you will lead complex water infrastructure projects, drive technological advancements, and mentor the next generation of water engineers.

Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for teamProvides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertiseDevelops study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by othersParticipates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverablesDevelops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projectsUses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E packagePerforms quality control review of design calculations or drawingsPrepares technical specification sectionsProvides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirementsLeads and mentors junior engineers and technicians in water engineering projectsCollaborates with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with local and international water standardsDevelops and implements innovative water management solutions to address sustainability challengesConducts feasibility studies and environmental impact assessments for large-scale water infrastructure projects

QualificationsAdvanced degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related fieldProfessional engineering license with a focus on water systemsMinimum of 12 years of experience in water infrastructure design and managementProven track record in managing complex, multi-discipline water projectsStrong leadership skills with the ability to mentor team members and facilitate their developmentProficiency in water modeling software and CAD toolsIn-depth knowledge of local and international water regulations and standardsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to lead through ambiguity and drive innovation in water engineeringFamiliarity with water management practices and regulations in the UAE and Middle East region (preferred)
