Job Description

We are seeking a visionary and experienced Principal Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru, India. As a Principal Engineer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the technical direction of our organization, leading complex projects, and mentoring other engineers.

Architect and design scalable, high-performance software systemsLead the development of complex, large-scale projects from conception to deploymentCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutionsProvide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teamsEstablish best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelinesConduct code reviews and ensure code quality across projectsEvaluate and recommend new technologies to improve our tech stackParticipate in strategic planning and decision-making processesDrive continuous improvement in engineering processes and methodologiesRepresent the engineering team in high-level discussions with stakeholders

QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field14+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 6 years in a senior technical leadership roleExtensive experience with advanced programming languages such as Java or Python.Proven expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architectureStrong background in distributed systems, system design, and scalability solutionsDemonstrated ability to lead and deliver large-scale, complex projectsProficiency in DevOps practices and Agile methodologiesExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailOutstanding communication and interpersonal skillsTrack record of mentoring and developing engineering talentDeep understanding of software engineering principles and best practicesExpertise in system architecture and design patternsKnowledge of emerging technologies and industry trendsRelevant technical certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect) are a plus
