About the role:

As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you will report to the Manager of Electrical, Control, and I&C Integration and work independently and as part of a team providing engineering design for nuclear products and projects.

This position is hybrid in nature at the discretion of the manager typically requiring 2-3 days/week on-site at the Westinghouse Global Headquarters in Cranberry Woods, PA in the Greater Pittsburgh Area. 

Key Responsibilities:

Independent engineering design for nuclear like including electrical system design, instrumentation and controls designs, and system wiring

Use Mathcad, Matlab, PSPice or similar

Interface w/ internal groups obtaining information

Plan and schedule work to meet requirements

Use appropriate standards, techniques, procedures and criteria for development of engineering design documents including calculations and specifications.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering

5+ years' overall engineering design

Electrical systems design

Instrumentation and controls design (I&C)

System Writing

Mathcad, Matlab, PSPice or similar

Design documents including calculations and specifications
