About the Role
This position is within HARMAN’s Corporate Division, Major design the automotive audio and all mechanical parts connected with customer interface. This position will have three direct reports. And support manufacture and local Customer.
Responsible for automotive audio mechanical design and analysis, development, prototyping, verification, validation and improvement. Work closely with other team members, includes PM, Hardware, Manufacturing, Suppliers, Quality Assurance departments to drive successful project delivery to meeting timing, cost and quality, prepare technical reports and presentation.
What You Will DoDevelop product concepts and design automotive audio product. Create 3D models, assembly drawings and component drawings of product design.Conduct FEA and thermal simulation, stack-up analysis, build prototype, conduct design verification and do DFMEA and lessons learn process. Develops plans to validate the robustness of product designs.Develop solutions under consideration of functional, performance, production and economic standpoints within the scope of specified concepts.Technical support for global RFI/Q, platform and customer projects.Follow PLM design cycle for gate review, change managementWhat You NeedMin Bachelor’s DegreeAt least 7+ years of Mechanical design for complex ProductsMust be familiar with Plastics Parts design;Familiar with design tools, such as CATIA, Solidworks, UG, Pro-E and etc.Good in Verbal and written communication skills DFMEA or DRBFM process or TS16949/APQP processAbility to work effectively within a matrix environment

What is Nice to Have
