The Role
As an Principal EC&I Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will work as part of the Intelligent Customer Engineering team, overseeing and liaising with the main contractor engineering delivery team.
Day to day, you’ll support the project throughout all delivery phases of design, procurement, construction, commissioning and beyond into operational ramp up of the plant.
Key duties:
Report directly to the CE&I responsible engineer in the act of discharging the role of design intelligent customer Provide appropriate independent governance, oversight and strategic control accross the BEP project Provide package / system specific design support Provide periodic on site support to the delivery of CE&I design and intelligent customer oversight
The role operates on a 37-hour working week and includes hybrid and flexible working options.
Essential experience of the Principal EC&I Engineer
Experience on plant process control systems with PLC / SCADA or equivalent architectures Knowledge of PES / Software lifecycle and supporting design and test documentation Understanding of contractual practices and arrangements (NEC3 etc)
Qualifications for the Principal EC&I Engineer
Engineering degree (or equivalent qualification) in relevant engineering discipline, with demonstrable experience

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
