Role description:

We are searching for a highly motivated and results-oriented Senior Consultant to join our growing digital advisory team. In this role, you will leverage your scientific and sustainability expertise alongside strong technical skills to develop high-quality, innovative solutions for a more sustainable future. You will bridge the gap between science and technology, translating complex sustainability challenges into actionable digital solutions using the Microsoft platform and low-code development tools. 

Main Sectors:

Energy & Resources: Focus on optimizing energy efficiency, reducing resource consumption, and integrating renewable energy solutions. Climate Change: Develop tools to measure and mitigate climate impacts, support carbon neutrality strategies, and manage climate risk. Circular Economy: Design solutions to promote waste reduction, resource recovery, and closed-loop systems.

Role accountabilities:

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and assess sustainability challenges. Work with developers to design, build, and implement digital tools and applications using the Microsoft platform and low-code development tools. Champion a culture of quality by translating complex scientific concepts and frameworks into clear, actionable, and well-documented technical requirements. Manage and mentor junior developers within the digital team. Develop and maintain expertise in relevant sustainability data sources and methodologies. Prepare compelling presentations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations. Stay current on emerging trends in sustainability, data science, and digital innovation.

Qualifications & Experience:

8-10 years of experience in sustainability consulting, environmental science, or a related field. Bachelors or Masters degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Data Science, or a relevant field (or equivalent experience). Proven track record of developing and implementing data-driven sustainability solutions. Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Strong technical skills and experience with the Microsoft platform and low-code development tools (e.g., Power Apps, Azure). Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) and data visualization techniques. Excellent understanding of sustainability principles and best practices. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Problem-solving skills and a strong analytical mind.
