Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant – Cloud Devops Architect

We are looking for candidates who have a passion for cloud with knowledge of different cloud architecture environments and devops tools Ansible, terraform, Python, Bash Scripts. Ideal candidates should have technical experience in Architecting to help customers get value from client Platform. This key role demands a highly motivated individual with a strong background in Computer Science/ Software Engineering. You are meticulous, thorough and possess excellent communication skills to engage with all levels of our stakeholders. A self-starter you are up-to-speed with the latest developments in the tech world.

Responsibilities

· Develop and Maintain OS images for AWS and Azure Cloud Services in accordance with Security and Standards.

· Write solution design document.

· Present the solution definition documentation to Architecture review council.

· Design architecture for high availability and security-first approach.

· Certified Cloud (Azure or AWS) SysOps Administrator / Certified Cloud (Azure or AWS) solution Architect (Associate required / Professional appreciated)

· Good experience in DevOps environment / Infrastructure operations / Troubleshooting and root cause analysis

· Good experience of Cloud (Azure, AWS or other) core services

· Good experience of Python and cloud API.

· Good experience of Ansible, Chef and terraform.

· Good experience in Database Management (SQL / NoSQL/PostGres)

· Experience with OS Image hardening, Container image Hardening, Image Galleries etc.

· Experience with automated configuration management tooling

· Exposure to Containerization technologies

· Deep understanding of Incident management and ITIL foundations

· Deep understanding of troubleshooting all areas of a workload

· Have strong knowledge on software quality control and assurance, analytical and reasoning skills

· Good knowledge in data standards, including adherence to the Data Protection Act

· Install, configure and trouble in Middleware technologies

· Managing the application deployment

· Tech refresh from obsolete to new version

· Experience in refactoring applications from on-prem to cloud.

· Expert and design Cluster

· Experience in data Backup and restore

· Experience in ITIL Process

· Certification in Microsoft Administration

· Experience on Develop Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents for various build, migration Decommission processes

· Strong experience in DevOps environment / Infrastructure operations / Troubleshooting and root cause analysis

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum qualifications / Skills

Bachelor's Degree required. Preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

Very good written and presentation / verbal communication skills with experience of customer interfacing role. In-depth requirement understanding skills with good analytical and problem solving ability, interpersonal efficiency, and positive attitude

The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is [$60,000 to $75,000]. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity.
