Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant – APO with PPDS

Responsibilities

• Demand Planning and Forecasting, Develop and maintain statistical forecasting models within SAP APO.
• Generate accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and business inputs. Planning Books and Interactive Planning
• Manage demand planning across the product lifecycle, from introduction to discontinuation.
• Collaboration and Consensus Planning
• Facilitate consensus forecasting meetings with key stakeholders across sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain.
• Analyze forecast accuracy and identify areas for improvement, System Integration and Optimization
• Ensure seamless integration of SAP APO with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA) and external systems.
• Continuously improve demand planning processes and system configurations.
• Advanced knowledge of SAP APO (Demand Planning module).
• Familiarity with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA) and integration points.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
• Analyze current business processes, identify possible gaps for improvement, and propose IT solutions that align with business objectives
• Develop, prototype, test and implement SAP APO solution enhancements
• Contribute or lead larger projects and/or guide others to lead smaller projects
• System/ jobs monitoring, failures root cause analysis
• Cooperate with IT architects to ensure your design meets the architecture principles
• Provide applications development and enhancement functions, including analysis, design, coding, testing, and move to production
• Prepare functional and technical design specifications
• Document and perform unit, string, integration, and regression testing in support of new implementations and releases
• Keep project manager informed of significant cross-team, cross-functional issues and/or significant technical challenges as appropriate.
• Solution Design: Collaborate with clients and business stakeholders to gather requirements and design efficient
• production planning and scheduling processes using SAP ePPDS. Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend best practices.
• Implementation and Configuration: Configure the SAP ePPDS module based on business requirements and
• industry-specific needs. Set up master data, define planning parameters, configure scheduling strategies, and integrate with other SAP modules and systems.
• System Testing and Documentation: Conduct comprehensive testing of the SAP ePPDS solution to ensure it meets business requirements and functions as intended. Document test results, configuration changes, and system design for future reference and knowledge sharing.
• Training and User Support: Provide training to end-users on how to effectively use SAP ePPDS functionalities, including creating production plans, scheduling orders, and managing exceptions. Offer ongoing user support, troubleshoot issues, and address inquiries related to the ePPDS module.

Key Skills -
• SAP APO certification.
• Experience in lifecycle planning and event-based forecasting.
• Knowledge of supply chain management best practices.

Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business information systems (IS), computer science or related field, or equivalent-related IT experience

• The candidate must be a self-starter, capable of multitasking and efficiently manage their time in a multifaceted environment with demanding deadlines while requiring minimal levels of supervision.
• Additionally, the candidate must possess excellent writing, speaking, analytical, project management, organizational, teamwork, and customer service skills that will assist them in identifying solutions to sophisticated security problems
• Ability to deliver high quality and reliable software by collaborating with team. Outstanding analytical skills, ability to apply expertise to drive sophisticated, technical and highly commercial solutions. Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
