Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant, Java Developer
In this role, you would be responsible for providing Enhancement Development services in a Java/Database environment.
You would be responsible for creating, testing, and maintaining Java applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions.
Responsibilities
Work with tech lead and Product Owner to review, estimate, prioritize User requirements
Write well-designed, efficient code.
Work in L2, L3 production support.
Conduct code reviews, testing, debug other team member’s code.
Troubleshoot and solve issues in a timely manner.
Good understanding of database architecture, SQL and DB design.
Schedule product releases with internal teams.
Documentation and working on code improvement throughout sprints.
Ensure applications have great performance.
Actively participate in discussion and make proposals to improve the quality of software.
Mentor and lead other developers on technology, good practices.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
BE/B Tech/MCA/MBA
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Assign, prioritize and execute tasks based on SDLC
React knowledge preferable
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Work experience as a Senior Java Developer or similar role
Experience designing, building and testing Java EE applications
In-depth knowledge of popular Java frameworks Spring
Able to delegate and time management skills
Proactive
Highly motivated and passionate about technology and meeting new challenges
Responsible and reliable
Have a sense of ownership of tasks assigned to deliver them with quality and on time
Problem-solving skills
Quality oriented - knowledgeable about good practices of software development
Good communication skills
Familiarity with Scrum ceremonies and agile fast-paced work
Proficient with Java (Java11 preferably)
Working knowledge of Spring /Spring batch framework
Good knowledge of PL/SQL.
Flexible to work in shift.
The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is [$60,000 to $75,500]. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity.
