Principal Comms Mgr, Strategic Initiatives, Seller Communications
Description The Seller Communications and Content team is looking for a Principal Communications Manager, Strategic Initiatives to lead our roadmap development and prioritization. This person will also helm key initiatives - such as designing our global messaging frameworks and channel strategy - which inform and inspire our Selling Partners. fostering their success in Amazon's store. The Principal Comms Manager will be responsible for building the strategic roadmap to improve the overall communication program and seller experience, with a north star goal of driving improved seller satisfaction. This work includes, but is not limited to, defining and implementing the global communication strategy, including channel framework and holistic metrics approach. This high-visibility role will shape the communications experience and will require close partnership with cross-functional teams to deliver a cohesive, effective selling partner communication program. Key job responsibilities - Build the strategic roadmap of initiatives to improve overall seller communication satisfaction, driving cross-org alignment on the top priority workstreams - Develop and execute the global channel communications strategy to improve the seller experience, empower business growth, and drive improved seller sentiment. - Establish standardized reporting and dashboards to track the performance and impact of the communications program. - Leverage data and seller feedback to continuously optimize the communications program. - Partner with external teams as needed to deliver high-quality, scalable communications. - Act as a strategic communications leader, providing counsel and thought leadership to senior stakeholders. - Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to continuously evolve the selling partner communications approach About the team The Selling Partner Communities organization (Communities) builds lasting connections with, and drives the success of our Selling Partners (SPs). Our products, such as news and forums, are currently used by millions of Selling Partners worldwide to engage with Amazon and foster an active and inclusive community and information exchange among SPs. These products also provide valuable insights into Selling Partner sentiment and issues. We are currently re-imagining how we enable our SPs to engage with other sellers, form Communities, and interact with Amazon. Basic Qualifications - 9+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience - Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements - Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) - Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs - Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams Preferred Qualifications - Experience working cross-functionally with partner teams to drive adoption and usage of brand assets and messaging - Experience in strategic marketing management and market analysis and demonstrated ability to build and execute a strategy with clear goals and objectives to align to business and service objectives, and support portfolio objectives Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $211,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
