Kforce has a client that is seeking a highly skilled Principal Cloud Engineer to join their dynamic team. This is a remote opportunity. Summary: This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in complex cloud environments and are passionate about building scalable, secure, and efficient data and integration solutions. You will play a key role in managing cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, and enterprise integrations across multiple platforms. Key Responsibilities: * Principal Cloud Engineer will design, build, and manage APIs and integration mechanisms (custom and out-of-the-box) * Own and manage Splunk as a product, including data ingestion and dashboarding * Develop and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and Data Lake architectures * Work extensively in Linux environments (some Windows) * Build infrastructure automation using Python, Terraform, and GitHub * As a Principal Cloud Engineer, you will manage cloud-native services across Azure (EventHub, Function Apps, Logic Apps, Analytics Workspace), AWS (CloudFormation, Kinesis, Redshift, CloudWatch), and GCP * Collaborate with internal IT teams supporting enterprise security tools and business systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Workday, Coupa, CRM) * Contribute to dashboard/UI design (nice to have)
