As a Business & Technical Architect, you're responsible for designing and implementing robust, scalable, and efficient business and technical solutions. You will provide expertise to enhance and develop architecture platforms based on modern cloud-based technologies, as well as collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs, translating them into technical requirements, and ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals.  Leverage your advanced architecture capabilities and collaborate with colleagues across the organization to drive best-in-class outcomes.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills 

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 7+ years applied experienceExperience in financial services and related technology systems.Proven experience as a Business/Technical Architect or in a similar role.Strong understanding of business processes and how technology can drive value.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.Advanced expertise in one or more programming language(s) and practical cloud native experience.Advanced knowledge of software architecture, application development, and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.).Experience applying expertise and new methods to determine solutions for complex architecture problems in one or more technical disciplines.Experience leading a product and the ability to present and effectively communicate to Senior Leaders and Executives.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills 

In-depth knowledge of the financial risk capabilities and high performance systems.Experience in agile product development and coaching/managing technologists .Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.Full stack development experience with Java, Spring, ReactJS.In depth experience of data modelling and technologies across relational, nosql and in-memory.Familiarity with API and micro-services frameworks, container technologies, and workflow tools.Certification in relevant technologies or architectural frameworks.
