Pricing Specialist, Control Systems

 

Key purpose: Regional coordination of pricing approach in the category Control systems, this includes process standardization, KPI management, providing regional market feedback to Global Pricing while ensuring optimal external conditions such as market pricing, competitiveness, and internal such as SPV targets and GM.

 

Accountabilities and deliverables

•Price execution of the pricing framework defined within the region together with global pricing, catmans and finance. •Leading the pricing strategies definition in the region to ensure optimum competitiveness aligned with market needs. •Ensure GM through price adjustments, which involves actively being engaged with different teams such as catmans, purchasing, sales, finance, marketing and others. •Comply with central global pricing guidelines & processes •Create transparency about pricing performance (SPV, Sales and margin development etc.) •Monitoring and control of price compliance to price corridors & price harmonization •Creation documentation (instructions, guidelines, process descriptions, templates) of relevant processes (Tender, price rounds, price change process etc.) •Manage pricing inbox and respond to internal and external customer pricing requests •Provide pricing team accurate data from multiple sources including SAP, Cognos, Prima, Salesforce •Coordinate the collection of competitive pricing and maintain database of the data •Support NA Commercial Excellence initiatives deployment as needed  

Required skills and experience / main competencies

§Basic knowledge of SAP §Strong pricing, analytic & influencing skills §Communicating technical concepts to non-technical audience §Able to translate findings into clear actionable insights and recommendations §Rigor in managing targets §Fostering collaboration & empowerment §Analytical, data driven mindset §Understanding of the needs of both external and internal customers & the markets
