The Pricing Manager, US Dealer and Retail Channel is part of the Pricing team that falls within the Finance function. This role is responsible for all aspects of pricing for the US Dealer, Walmart, Menards, and Amazon. Specific areas of focus are setting and getting price, pricing structure and strategy, controls, MSRP prices, MAP pricing reporting, promo process and analytics.
Individuals in this job position perform work at an experienced high level with proven success defining plans to meet/beat goals and metrics, building collaborative business relationships, and influencing behavior and actions to align with overall business strategy.
You will report to the Pricing Director and work hybrid based in the Cranberry, PA office.
Responsibilities:
• Continuously monitor and analyze competitor pricing strategies and market positioning. Use this information to adjust pricing strategy to maintain competitiveness while protecting profitability.
• Ensure SAP pricing structure aligns with customer and business needs and mitigate price channel conflict.
• Partner with sales and finance team to provide ideas and suggestions to improve profitable revenue growth.
• Continuously review and adjust pricing strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
• Define key performance indicators to measure the success of growth initiatives.
• Make recommendations for change or action based on insights and learnings.
• Implement, monitor, and measure price increases and other price actions.
• Promotion analysis and recommendation
• Develop insightful and actionable reporting.
• Build field sales relationships across all levels (directors, regionals, reps)
• Align the US dealer and retail channel pricing processes and systems.
• Monitoring and communicate the Walmart paint index and its impact
• Manage MAP pricing policy and enforce map pricing policy.
• Support the vision of the organization to help fulfill short- and long-term goals
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree, finance, accounting or analytics based field
• 6+ years of experience.
• Customer focused individual who believes in ensuring promises are delivered upon and can foster a climate of trust and cooperation with colleagues and customers.
• Strong collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated comfort with making decision with insufficient information.
• Advance and ability to aggregate, manipulate, and interpret disparate sources of data. Ability to use Microsoft BI to extract and manipulate data.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and present conclusions in a clear and concise manners.
• Strong attention to detail
