Pricing Analyst - Reporting & Analytics Apply now » Date: Apr 30, 2025 Location: Shelton, CT, US, 06484-4300 Company: Hubbell Incorporated Job Overview The Reporting & Analytics Analyst, supporting the Hubbell Electrical Solutions (HES) Pricing COE, will play a pivotal role in driving pricing excellence across the HES business by developing and maintaining core quote and pricing KPI’s, providing insightful pricing reports that support efficient pricing execution, and performing ad-hoc research and analysis to answer key questions from pricing and business management teams. Critical to success in this role is a deep technical understanding of data modeling design principles, proficiency with the full suite of MS O365 products including advanced Excel and Power Bi skills, and a creative approach to breaking down complex requirements and solutioning with imperfect data. Additionally, to thrive in this role requires a self-starter mentality, exceptional critical thinking skills, and the ability to independently solve complex problems supported by data. A Day In The Life + Develop and maintain reporting and analytics that focus on critical KPI’s to support the evaluation of pricing discipline, execution, cycle time of quotations, and other key metrics. + Become an expert on the data ecosystem at Hubbell and build a core capability around data interpretation across functional areas that impact the pricing COE. + Develop and maintain pricing tools and reports that promote continuous improvement across the HES segment with a focus on scalability and efficiency. + Support core pricing processes by serving data and analysis to pricing stakeholders in a consumable format that can be easily retrieved and utilized to support pricing decisions. + Support mass update processes for large scale price changes across HES business units, including quotes and into stock price updates, while meeting strict deadlines and maintaining data integrity. + Additional duties as outlined. What will help you thrive in this role? + Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Business Analytics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, or another analytically rigorous field. Master’s degree preferred. + 3+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment focused on reporting & analytics initiatives and support. + 3+ years of deep experience developing efficient reports and analysis with PowerBi, including complex M and DAX queries, data model design principles and tradeoffs, and working with imperfect data. + High proficiency with MS Excel, including advanced formulas, VBA, and PowerQuery. + Experience with SAP is highly desired, specific experience with SAP Sales & Distribution module preferred. + Exceptional stakeholder management skills with proven ability to influence and drive cross-functional alignment.
