Your role and responsibilitiesThe Pricing Analyst will play an important role in improving ABB-EL's analytical capabilities in pricing. Used by sales and marketing personnel for strategic intelligence activities, the Pricing Analyst will influence profitability and NPV tools through strategic, operational, and tactical pricing models. This position will report to the Pricing Director.•\tSupport the team with database management, data analysis, and modeling work.•\tAnalyze volume, price, mix, and share interactions by sales sector, customer, product line, agreement type, region, and salesperson.•\tBe able to detect errors and incorrect information in the database, interpret business impacts, and propose solutions and data products.•\tProvide reliable advice and guidance to the company while building strong relationships, leading objectives, and managing expectations.•\tTransform data requests and business challenges into data products that drive action, automation, and added value.•\tBe able to perform an analysis task from start to finish: data collection, data cleaning, data exploration and analysis, reporting results.•\tBe able to effectively influence decision-makers through analysis.•\tKnowledge of data visualization techniques and tools (Tableau or Power BI) would be considered an asset.
Qualifications for the roleHold a relevant degree combined with a minimum of five years of experience in a commercial or analytical role.Be able to build strong relationships and assert oneself, possessing good facilitation and influence skills.Be motivated and able to work independently as well as a valuable team member.Be an advanced user of Excel (formulas, macros).Be able to prioritize work and track deadlines in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
