Pricing Analyst
Job Description

Danfoss is looking for a Pricing Analyst to join our Commercial Operations team.

In this position, you will help optimize customer pricing and support the Power Solutions sales organization in pricing and all price-related issues for Australia and New Zealand. You are the first contact person for Account Managers for all pricing-relevant topics, helping them work autonomously and coaching them to make the right pricing decisions. You will also actively work on Quotation consultancy.

You will also work closely with the Sales organization and different Business Units to ensure that pricing materials, tools, guidelines, and authorization levels are understood and followed. Maintaining price records in the ERP business systems and ensuring correct pricing to our customers will also be an integral part of your responsibilities. 

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

Analyze the customers from an overall perspective and give recommendations on all kinds of commercial aspects (i.e. price, payment terms, incoterms and currency strategy) Automate and align Pricing Processes in ANZ with the rest of the Danfoss Power Solutions organization Provide input for price negotiations and all price-related issues Evaluate target price requests, work on quotations, and facilitate agreements with the Business Units where needed Manage and maintain the ERP business systems daily, covering price changes and price record implementation for customers as well as the calculation of list prices and net prices. Ensure smooth order processing by implementing approved quotes into the business system and make sure that price defects will be solved in a timely manner Perform updates and maintenance of pricing data in the ERP business systems and make sure agreed price changes are implemented into the business system Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of pricing KPI’s, and highlight potentials for improvement Participate in and contribute to pricing projects Facilitate and support our journey towards pricing excellence  Identify and suggest areas for improvements related to pricing administration Background & Skills

Customer oriented thinking and sterling communication skills Relevant bachelor’s degree or a high level of relevant business experience. Experience with SAP and Salesforce is a strong plus. Able to learn the financial ratios used in understanding and running a business, that meets profitability goals. To succeed, you need to have a passion for the overall business and capability to focus on the profitable growth goals of the organization. You also need a quality mindset and a desire to deliver the results back to the stakeholder on time and agreed conditions. You thrive in an international environment and you have strong communication and networking capabilities with the power to challenge the Sales team when optimizing the customer price You hold basic negotiating skills and the ability to conduct meetings. You are energetic and willing reach optimum solutions between multiple and sometimes conflicting interests.
