Pricing Analyst

Colder Products Company (CPC) is the leading provider of quick disconnect couplings, fittings and connectors for plastic tubing. At CPC, we believe that fluid handling should be safe and easy. CPC is a Dover company based in Minnesota (Minneapolis/St. Paul metro) with global offices and operations in Europe and Asia.

 

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Senior Pricing Analyst will serve as a key member of the Finance team and will support CPC’s ability to achieve revenue and profitability goals through global pricing analysis, understanding industry trends, research and analysis of market, competitive landscape, and presentation of complex data to multiple levels of leadership.  The Senior Pricing Analyst must possess excellent communication, analytical mindset, problem solving skills, and attention to detail.  The candidate should have a strong technical background, ideally in a manufacturing company and demonstrated knowledge of pricing strategy execution, analysis, modeling, and presentation tools.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Research and analyze markets, regional, historical, and competitor pricing. Price products, update quotes, and respond to RFP. Increase positive customer experience through automated and improved speed of response. Communicate and report findings to the broader team of selling, marketing, and product management. Build reporting tools to support ongoing analysis. Support design and creation of selling playbooks. Develop and enforce pricing policies, including customers contracts and terms. Monitor and adapt customer and product price lists with industry changes, competitive pricing, and costing. Conducts analysis for sales leaders upon request.

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree required in economics, math, finance, or related concentration 3-5 years of experience in relevant analyst role with a bias towards B2B sales. Demonstrated knowledge of pricing strategy execution, analysis, modeling, and presentation tools. Proven track record as an effective business partner providing analytical support Ability to prioritize projects Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite Excellent communication, analytical mindset, problem solving skills, and attention to detail. Experience with manufacturers’ distribution models and direct contracts Oracle experience Power BI experience CRM system experience Capable of presenting and explaining complex data to multiple levels of organization Demonstrated problem solving Strong analytical skills and ability to see trends within data Exhibits curiosity and attention to detail Passionate about executing strategy and cross functional collaboration Proven to dig deep to understand results and data relationships, escalating problems with solutions
