As a Preventative Maintenance Coordinator, you will oversee the preventive maintenance program, meticulously tracking and ensuring that all PCL-owned equipment is properly maintained. As the go-to expert, you will support both internal and external customers in executing all preventive maintenance functions.
Here's how a Preventative Maintenance Coordinator for our Resources office contributes to our team:
Responsibilities Responsible for the preventive maintenance work order process from creation to closeout for PCL owned equipment. Distributes, enters, tracks, and audits meter-reading requests for all PCL-owned equipment. Assists with management of the preventative maintenance system through regular auditing by analyzing reports and data on a regular basis. Distributes warranty and recall notices to all PCL districts. Assists in creating preventive maintenance schedules and certification timetables for new equipment. Assists with the administration of the telematics’ system for the PCL-owned equipment fleet pertaining to meter reading and preventative maintenance. Assists with, testing, maintaining, and developing software on PCL preventative maintenance system and investigates PM initiatives. (Oracle E1, Telematics, etc.) Distributes oil samples for all PCL districts. Coordinates with the project team to complete preventive maintenance servicing and certifications for units within the local area. Supports all PCL districts with inquiries and issues regarding preventive maintenance. Develops and maintains strong, customer-focused relationships with all stakeholders. Other duties as required. Qualifications 3 years of experience as a service coordinator or technician in a mechanical and/or repair shop environment. Intermediate experience with preventative maintenance reporting software (e.g., Oracle, HCSS, Strategy). Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to deal with conflict. Intermediate mechanical aptitude and knowledge of construction equipment, focusing on preventative maintenance. Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities. Attention to detail and ability to analyze maintenance invoices and records. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify risks in preventative maintenance decisions.
