The Press Operator is responsible for setting up and operating the press machine used to form steel plate.
Essential Functions:
Set-up of custom forming dies and assists in die fabrication. Lead the team on the best methods to produce parts safely and efficiently. Perform QC inspections and assure quality of all parts produced. Document best practices on all custom parts. Assist in estimating time required to press custom parts. Mentor press operator helper. Comply with all established safety guidelines.Qualifications:

Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in dishing tank heads and other custom pieces. Ability to read blueprints and understand basic die design. Fabrication and welding skills are preferred.
