Press Brake Operator
$20-$28 depending on experience.
2nd and 3rd shift available

Responsible for producing parts from metal or other materials using a CNC equipment that makes precision bends, punches, or cuts into material.

Key Responsibilities: Knowledge of CNC controller to input information into machine. Adjust RAM and back gauge locations per process control instructions and blueprints. Set up tooling, load programs and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of equipment per print specifications. Use proper inspection methods, i.e. calipers, dial indicators and other precise measuring instruments to check height, depth and thickness. Monitor machine to ensure peak performance and to increase output and fix errors if there is a problem. Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency. Knowledge of tooling and tool maintenance. Ability to distinguish material types including aluminum, steel, stainless steel, and copper. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to multitask and prioritize in an effective way. Ability to work unsupervised or with minimal supervision while meeting all product quality requirements. Ability to detect bad parts. Ability to read blueprints/drawings and a knowledge of engineered specific tolerances.  Ensure machine is calibrated and cleaned.
