Job DescriptionROLE OVERVIEW
The Pre-Press Lead is responsible for the on-shift oversight of the Pre-Press Department and production schedule. Additionally responsible for providing support to the Pre-Press Supervisor to help the department achieve High Performance in all facets of safety, quality, service and cost.

$31.93/hr + $1.20/hr night shift differential

WHAT YOU GET TO DO
Act as a safety leader and puts safety first in all responsibilities
Direct day to day activities of the department based on production demands
Provide coverage for plate checking, pre-mounting, mounting and platemaking as needed
Collaborate with the Press and Production Planning Departments to determine production priorities
Support the Pre-Press Supervisor in the administration of established policies and procedures in a fair and equitable manner and help to resolve employee problems.
Provide feedback to the Pre-Press Supervisor on employee performance against standards.
Ensure that Standard Operating Conditions (SOC’s) are being followed.
Ensure the timely and accurate completion and entry of vacation, shift trade and overtime requests.
Fill in as backup for the Pre-Press Supervisor when needed
Support Pre-Press Supervisor by providing instruction and training related to the employee’s job based on department goals and expectations.
Assist the Pre-Press Supervisor with investigations for any injuries, incidents and near misses and provide corrective action.
Collaborate with the Pre-Press Supervisor to address customer complaints and quality defects and help identify corrective actions.
Support and actively participate in department process improvement and safety initiatives.
