Job Description
We are seeking a Precision Parts Inspector to support our machined parts department. This highly detail-oriented role requires expertise in shop math, documentation, and manufacturing processes. You will use precision measuring tools and blueprints to review parts from CNC machines and ensure they meet dimensional specifications. This position is suitable for candidates with a variety of manufacturing experience in precision measuring.
ResponsibilitiesFollow all document measurement procedures.Work alongside Manufacturing Managers to ensure compliance with equipment calibration system requirements.Use precision measurement tools like micrometers, height gauges, optical gauges, and others for inspections.Inspect parts with reference to blueprints and work orders by applying knowledge of machining, shop math, and statistics.Document findings with internal customers and develop corrective action plans.Maintain accurate records and inventory of tools.Essential SkillsBlueprint readingUse of precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.Inspection of manufactured parts, ideally from a machine shop or similar experience with parts inspectionAbility to perform shop math for measuring and calculating dimensionsAbility to read work order documents and document if parts meet complianceAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, OutlookKnowledge of blueprints and mechanical drawingsBasic knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)Familiarity with CMM operations (PC-DMIS)Why Work Here?

Work Environment
You will work in a very clean, state-of-the-art facility. The shift for this role is Monday - Friday, 2:00pm - 10:30pm, with a 10% shift differential.

This is a Permanent position based out of Hillsboro, Oregon.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $47201.00 - $57820.00/yr.
