Responsibilities

Position Purpose:

As a member of the Precious Metals team, the employee will work with the manager and assistant team lead to support our customers. The Precious Metals Vault Custodian will be responsible for following policies and procedures as well as performing daily operations in accordance with directives from the management team. The employee will develop and maintain a professional employee-centered culture, a safe and secure operation, a high level of service delivery, and productive operations. This includes operational responsibility for all the precious metals vault and facility security operations as mandated by company standards and procedures, and as directed by on-site & external management.

 

Primary duties will include:

Adhere to all rules and protocols set forth by the companyLoad / unload trucks, flatbed cartsOperate Vault equipment Check and verify incoming and outgoing shipments against source paperworkCount items, record amounts and serial numbers, sign and date receipts and manifestsPack boxes generously to prevent breakageAbility to multitask in a high-paced environmentIdentify errors and/or potential financial riskPerform all duties instructed by Managers, supervisors and/or leadsCommunicate effectively in a collaborative, complex and high performing team environment.Proactively participate in the lifecycle of the vault operations including requirements, development, quality assurance, deployment, documentation, and support.This list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and can be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities that management deems necessary

 

Qualifications

To land this role you will need:

Experience in the precious metals industry preferredKnowledgeable in COMEX rules is a plusExperience working both independently and, in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essentialDemonstrated ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesAbility to remain flexible during times of change and react to project adjustments and alterations promptly, efficiently, and positively.Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyDemonstrate strong verbal skills, positive attitude, and proactively contribute to project and team success

Education / Certification Requirements:

High School DiplomaCollege Degree Preferred

Working environment:

5 Days On-siteClimate controlled environmentAbility to lift 50-70lbs on a daily basisMay have responsibilities after normal business hours and/or weekendsOvertime can be mandatory at times to meet aggressive deadlines as per business needsWork in areas within a vault with little or no exposure to outside light

Hiring Salary Range $19.23-$22.50 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity and alignment with market data.)   Subject to business performance and recommendations of management, this role may be eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.  This compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
