Pre Sales Consultant (Facilities Management Solutions)

Position Overview:

MRI Software provides Facilities Management software solutions for both FM Service providers and Building Owner/Occupiers in approximately 60 countries globally, with clients spanning an extensive range of sectors. Our solutions are some of the most trusted in the Facilities Management management sector and our depth of knowledge within the sector is second to none.  

The Solution Architect works hand in hand with the EMEA Sales Team to deliver presentations and provide application support required to expand existing relationships and acquire new clients.  This position will provide sales demonstration support, collaboration on sales strategy, technical presentation acumen and product expertise to FM professionals. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional presentation and technical capabilities, thrives on pressure, works ahead of deadlines and contributes evenly in a highly demanding, collaborative team environment.  This position plays an integral role in driving software license and long term application support revenue for MRI Software. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Act as a technical resource primarily for the MRI EMEA sales team from qualification to successful close of the sale.  

Be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to assigned deals, prospective clients and existing customers while ensuring customer WOW.   

Develop, design, validate, and assist in positioning MRI software capabilities to include advanced product concepts and 3rd party complimentary interfaces.   

Deliver customer-centric value based, and, usually customized presentations and solution demonstrations  

Present MRI product capabilities, technology infrastructure, including demonstrating deep familiarity with MRI direction, product roadmap, hardware requirements, software, networking and metering environments.  

Able to deliver proof of concept that can be used to establish viability, address technical issues, demonstrate alignment with discovered client needs, and advance the sales process.  

Evoke prospect and client confidence while positioning MRI offerings and architecture in the best possible light.  

Ability to uncover and investigate client business challenges and match MRI’s solutions to those pain points. Anticipate and remove technical objections in the sales cycle.  

Respond effectively to RFPs  

Contribute directly to attaining or exceeding quarterly and annual objectives assigned by management 

Performs all other duties as assigned 

  

REQUIREMENTS: 

Knowledge and Skills:  

Strong presentation and communication skills, capable of showcasing MRI solutions to clients and prospects.

Quick-thinking and adaptable, able to respond to client questions during demos.

Clear, articulate delivery of value propositions and solutions to various stakeholder levels (end-users, project sponsors, C-suite executives).

Experience managing multiple opportunities simultaneously and adapting to shifting priorities.

Familiarity with business processes in Facilities, Asset, or Maintenance Management, with a minimum of 3 years' experience using FM software or working with similar vendors.

Knowledge of Evolution or a comparable CAFM platform.

Understanding of system architecture, application design, and integration.

Ability to engage and influence C-level executives.

Problem-solving skills for improving business processes and resolving technical challenges.

Willingness to work independently and as part of a team on complex business and technical challenges.

Flexibility to travel, including occasional international trips on short notice.

Preferred Qualifications: 

Knowledge of related applications, relational database and web technology  

Previous experience of FM sector and MRI software 

Previous experience with MRI and competitor’s products preferred 

Experience and/or knowledge of MEDDPICC Sales techniques is desirable but not essential
