Job Description:
Assist University Architect, Director of Construction, Director of Preconstruction & Reporting and PDC project managers with establishing program budgets, benchmarking space type costs, reporting on budget information to UF Stakeholders and forecasting final project costs.
Assist University Architect, Director of Construction, Director of Preconstruction & Reporting and PDC project managers with establishing program schedule, analyze construction and design schedules provided by vendors, review float for risk assessment, track milestones to create a schedule database.
Creating and updating reports to PDC and University Administration to communicate both budget and schedule updates, benchmarks and risk.
Attending project design and construction meetings, visit construction sites and meet with UF Stakeholders.
Responsible for other duties as assigned.
A criminal background will be conducted.
Work hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Expected Salary:
$80,000 yearly based on experience.
Minimum Requirements:
Master's degree in an appropriate area (mechanical engineering, architecture, building construction/management) and five years of relevant experience in the construction industry; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and six years of relevant experience in the construction industry. LEED AP and BIM (Revit) experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in architecture, building construction, engineering, or other construction relevant program; excellent oral and written communication skills; Microsoft office skills; computer skills. Procore or other scheduling software; Revit.
