Practice Manager
Overview

Work in collaboration with the business operations. Establishes and sustains daily operations to ensure efficient operational workflows, and customer satisfaction. Works under general direction.


Responsibilities
Implements and monitors office policies and procedures.Ensures practice compliance with all regulatory agencies governing health care delivery and the rules of accrediting bodies. Monitors operations, programs, and services. Recommends and initiates appropriate changes.Coordinates and prepares for external audits/regulatory surveys; assists auditors/surveyors when on-site.Collaborates with leadership to ensure all regulatory requirements are met; maintains necessary files/documentation.Follows up on completed audits to ensure recommended actions have been implemented and to re-assess areas identified in need of improvement.Facilitates communication between various departments including leadership, Accounts Receivable, Clinical Operations, and Managed Care Administration.Coordinates vendor negotiation and contracting for required professional and business services.Monitors cost and quality of contracted work deliverables, intervenes to promote improvements and cost competitiveness.Makes recommendations to leadership regarding appropriate interventions.Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.
Qualifications

Education:   Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree in health-related field preferred.

Experience:  Minimum of three--five years’ experience in health care setting required. Demonstrated strong business and customer service skills required.Strong computer skills required.
