Our physician led medical group enjoys an excellent reputation with patients and the medical community, offering primary care, urgent care and more than 30 different specialties. *Position Summary* The *Practice Administrator*for the Fairfield region will be responsible for overseeing the operations of multi-specialty practices while partnering with the*Medical Director of Specialty Care*. This role requires strong leadership, financial oversight, and strategic problem-solving to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and operational efficiency. This role requires a proactive, results-driven leader with a strong ability to navigate complex healthcare environments, drive innovation, and support the continued growth and success of specialty care practices. In addition, operational leadership and accountability for the Urgent Care services in the region. * Implements and monitors departmental goals and objectives for the office/s. * Analyzes needs and develops recommendations to align with the strategic direction of the organization. * Build and maintain*strong relationships with providers, staff, and colleagues*to foster a culture of collaboration and engagement. * Oversee*provider contract management*, ensuring compliance and alignment with organizational objectives. * Holds staff accountable for customer service standards; intercedes and takes appropriate action when incidents occur. * Provide financial oversight, including budget management and expense control. * Take initiative in identifying*operational improvement opportunities*and implementing solutions. * Interviews candidates and makes hiring decisions. Orients new hires and provides on-going training and education to staff, utilizing standard work and procedures. *Education:* * Bachelor’s degree in related field *Experience:* * 5 years leading a customer service focused team * Employee relation and talent management experience * Lead continuous improvement *Knowledge and Skills:* Healthcare*Operations:* * Understanding of multispecialty practice management, patient flow, and provider support. * Knowledge of quality and safety standards in healthcare settings. Financial*Management:* * Budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. * Revenue cycle management, billing, and reimbursement processes. * Cost control and efficiency strategies. Healthcare*Technology & Systems:* * Proficiency with*Electronic Health Records (EHR)*and practice management software. * Data analytics and reporting tools for operational decision-making. *Provider Relations:* * Provider contract management and compensation models. * Workforce planning, talent management, and staff development. * Employee engagement and retention strategies. *Communication & Relationship-Building:* o Excellent verbal and written communication skills. o Ability to build*trusting relationships*with providers, colleagues, and regional leadership. o Strong collaboration and conflict-resolution skills.
