Qualifications:
Tertiary qualification as a Quantity Surveyor. Professionally registered with SACQSP. Experience:
Minimum of 3 years working experience. Experience in Project Management. Proficiency in WinQS and DimX Software. Skills:
Ability to prepare BOQs for tender packages. Ability to conduct building condition assessments and re-measurements to prepare the necessary project cost estimates. Strong MsPowerpoint presentation and report writing skills. Responsibilities:
Advise on Procurement Policies. Prepare estimates of construction costs. Conduct condition assessments, liaise, co-operate and provide necessary information to the client, principal consultant and the other consultants. Advise and assist in preparing necessary value engineering and life cycle cost reports as required. Measure building quantities and draft Bills of Quantities. Perform cost management of construction projects. Conduct site visit and valuation of work completed by the contractors. Prepare interim payment certificates and final accounts.
