PR & Communications Manager, South Korea (12-months Contract)

Spotify is seeking a PR & Communications Manager to join our South Korea team. Reporting to the Head of PR & Communications for South Korea, we are looking for a diligent, creative, and proactive communications expert who can manage multiple work streams and perform well under pressure. This role will work on PR campaigns focused on music and tech, build and execute robust influencer strategies for Spotify, and cultivate and maintain meaningful relationships with influencers. The ideal candidate will be adept at contextualizing Spotify’s efforts and telling its story in the market. Experience working with local influencers/KOLs in entertainment, lifestyle, music, tech, and youth culture is a plus.What You'll DoCollaborate with Head of PR Comms in Korea and other cross-functional and regional teams members and partners to plan and execute Spotify Korea PR Comms campaigns and day-to-day work/activitiesHelp drive Spotify’s earned influencer related activations including material development, relationship management, events and moreManage and partner with Korea based PR agencies with clear prioritization, direction and ongoing guidance to deliver on communications goalsCraft compelling materials including media pitches, press pitches, talking points, briefing docs and much more in alignment with brand voice and objectivesWho You AreMinimum of 8+ years of relevant PR and Comms or Influencer experience, both in-house and agency preferred, in the Korea marketPossess exceptional writing and communication skills to craft compelling materials including media pitches, communication strategies, talking points and much more in alignment with brand voice and objectives - both in Korean and in EnglishOwn existing and reliable relationships with influencers and thought leadersStrong knowledge of the industry including key players and trendsExperience with communications supporting a global company in a fast paced environmentProven ability to develop and implement integrated PR campaignsMotivated self-starter with hands-on attitudeExcellent organizational skillsStrong project management and agency management skillsAbility to multitask and work in a hectic and extremely fast-moving industry and environmentCollaborative individual who enjoys partnering closely across teams and departments to create and distribute the most impactful communications possibleStrategic thinker and resourceful problem-solverAbility to balance evolving short- and long-term prioritiesEager to deliver original, out-of-the-box communications strategies and a willingness to color outside of the lines.English and Korean bilingual proficiency is a mustOf course, an ever-enthusiastic representative of the Spotify brand!Where You'll BeThis position will be based in our Seoul officeWe are proud to foster a workplace free from discrimination.
