PR / Communication Manager - Korea
Job Description: PR/Communication Manager (EF Korea) Role Overview  The PR/Communication Manager is responsible for promoting EF’s business vision and achievements to the public and positioning the company as a trusted brand. The role includes managing public relations activities, media engagement, crisis management, and producing promotional content for various media platforms, including magazines and TV. Key Responsibilities:       1.     Website Management:          •   Plan and manage the global integrated website•   Plan, manage, and update the global integrated website with locally relevant content.          •   Create engaging and impactful content for the local website, ensuring alignment with EF’s brand voice and messaging.          •   Apply expertise in copywriting to produce high-quality marketing and communication materials.      2.     Media Relations:          •   Plan and execute media outreach strategies.          •   Build and maintain relationships with journalists and media outlets.          •   Monitor media coverage and manage media networks.      3.     Content Creation and Marketing:          •   Identify and manage PR opportunities and issues.          •   Develop promotional content for magazines and TV.          •   Conduct English translations for communication materials.          •   Execute offline communication and marketing activities.      4.     Customer Communication:          •   Engage potential customers through email marketing, KakaoTalk, and ChannelTalk. Qualifications:       1.     Required:          •   Bachelor’s degree or higher.          •   Minimum of 3 years of PR experience in the education or travel industry.          •   Strong experience in media engagement and handling journalists.          •   Proficiency in English (business level or higher).          •   Ability to draft press releases and professional documents effectively.          •   A proactive and dynamic approach to work.      2.     Preferred:          •   Relevant majors such as Korean Literature or Mass Communication.          •   Proven ability to build networks and gather valuable information for impactful results.          •   Problem-solving skills for handling sensitive issues effectively.          •   Strong understanding of media and public needs, with the ability to prepare proactive responses. Skills and Competencies:     •         Detail-oriented with the ability to deliver concise and impactful messages.    •         Excellent communication skills for fostering positive relationships.    •         Initiative and leadership in addressing media and audience needs.    •         Ability to manage crises and maintain a professional public image. Recruitment Process:       1.     Application Screening.      2.     First-round interview with a focus on practical skills.      3.     Case study evaluation.      4.     Second-round interview with management.      5.     Compensation negotiation.      6.     Final selection and onboarding. Documents Required:    •         Resume and Cover Letter.
