Quality Manager
Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to assist local unit in developing the necessary capabilities to effectively control products and systems. Each day, you will ensure compliance with internal, customer, and industry requirements within a cost-effective and safe working environment. You will also showcase your expertise by participating in the development and implementation of standards and test methods to ensure only compliant products, software, and services are released to the customer.- Define quality standards & testing specification (checklist) for localized parts together with R&D and PE- Review components’ sample testing reports, assemble on product to verify quality before final approval- Carry out technical audit on supplier site to review PPAP and manufacturing process- Coach and support suppliers on quality for localization, outsourcing & continuous improvement- Define & adjust sampling plan for incoming components based on quality performanceProcess quality Control- Production line FPY, SPC, PFMEA, 5M1E monitoring and improvement- Plan & arrange regular product & component reliability test, eg. endurance test, temp-rise test, electric life test, etc. to monitor quality- PPS (Practical Problem Solving): Leading PPS team to ensure fast response and resolution for quality issue and escalate from L1 to L2 & L3- Support Product Engineer for engineering change validation- Leading production line PPAP (Flow Chart, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA…) implementation for new product, including new testing device development and validation, trail run and product validation and approval- Initiate component, product and process quality issue resolution- Participate projects of productivity, production line and process improvement, cost reduction initiated by production, engineering, planning, sourcing department.- Internal & external product & process audit such as ISO9001, CCC, UL
Qualifications for the roleBachelor’s degree or above, electrical, mechanical & electronic engineering is preferredAt least 5 years working experiences as quality control or product engineering in factory. Familiar with low voltage products ACB, MCCB is preferred. Familiar with application of quality tools, 6 Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt is preferredFluent written and spoken English
