PPG Physical Therapist

Summary

Provides professional patient care and practices physical therapy by evaluating, planning, implementing, and documenting treatment, in accordance with the philosophy and essential functions of the clinic, the rehabilitation department, the appropriate State Practice Act, the American Physical Therapy Association, and the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Organizations.

 

Education

Must have a BS in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

 

Licensure/Certification

Must hold a current license in the state of employment. Must be certified in CPR by American Heart or American Red Cross; or must become certified within 90 days of employment. Must maintain certification according to expiration date.

 

Experience

None.

 

Other Qualifications

American Physical Therapy Association membership preferred. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, assist with 100 pounds, may be required to push up to 300 pounds.
