Your OpportunityStantec has an opportunity for a sector leadership position as the Ontario Power Sector Lead for our growing Environmental Services team in Ontario (currently 360 members). This project management and business development focused role will support the top line growth of business within the power sector. The successful candidate will help set the vision for how the environmental sector services practice grows its power sector business in Ontario. The Ontario Power Sector Lead will report to the Business Center Practice Leaders (BCPLs) in Ontario, as well as the Canadian National Power Sector Leader, and will also work collaboratively with Stantec’s Environmental Services Power Sector Team who has representation across Canada. This role will involve the development and execution of a power sector growth strategy.
We are looking for an Environmental Services practitioner who can undertake billable work while growing Stantec’s position within the Power Sector in Ontario. This position will be based in Ontario and require periodic travel within Ontario to Stantec offices and client offices to execute the sector growth strategy.
University degree with at least 10 years of professional experience
Experience leading environmental support for power projects of significant size and/or complexity, ideally in Ontario
Experience building and maintaining productive relationships with colleagues, clients, agencies, and Indigenous Nations
Seasoned project delivery experience, ideally in consulting services
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.

Additional Information Salary Range(s): Pay transparency laws require employers to provide the following information for positions that may be in the following jurisdiction(s): Location Description: Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in PEI Min Pay Range: 112,300 Max Pay Range: 168,500 Location Description: Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in BC (Lower Mainland includes Vancouver & Burnaby) Min Pay Range: 132,300 Max Pay Range: 198,400 Note: The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
