Power Risk Engineer (Renewables Focus)

We are seeking a Power Risk Engineer with a focus on renewables to join our team. This role will involve working closely with clients in the power generation sector, primarily in Solar and Wind technologies.
What you can expect:
The role will be heavily client-facing, involving surveys of client power generation assets, producing risk assessments, loss estimates, and conducting training and benchmarking exercises.
We will count on you to:
Conduct risk engineering surveys, including site visits, interviews with management, and detailed engineering reports.Perform risk assessments of operational power plants and reviews of new projects for Marsh's power clients.Support Power Broking teams in placing risks in international insurance markets.Provide clients with risk improvement advice regarding their Loss Prevention and Resilience programs.What you need to have:
Sound working knowledge of power industry technologies including renewables.Operational and project phase experience, with exposure to risk-assessed decision-making.Proficiency in IT, including general office systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and technical simulation packages relevant to the field.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate business goals and strategies.What makes you stand out:
