Ideal Education & Experience Requirements:


Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Engineering or related discipline required. Graduate degree is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in US origination, sales, power finance, or trading, with proven track record or comparable experience required. Wind, Solar BESS power marketing experience is needed with experience in structuring baseload renewable power contracts preferred. Demonstrated customer-focused, commercial management, negotiation and influencing skills. Solid oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Results driven and ability to work well within a cross functional team. Strong analytical skills with attention to details. Ability to quickly work into new tasks and accommodate a dynamic environment. Activities

The Power Marketing Senior Manager will be responsible for the successful negotiation of the agreements for various offtake structures, in close coordination with the Renewables and IPBU team. 

Deliver clean firm power PPAs to end users, collaborating with all contributing internal departments. Contribute to the origination & power marketing strategy to secure offtake for solar, and storage projects. Execute the origination strategy by developing and maintaining relationships with existing and new clients, including utilities and corporate offtakers. Represent the company in industry conferences/forums and client meetings outside of the office. Review and evaluate RFPs, work with the team to respond with proposals and coordinate pricing. Redline term sheets and full form agreements in both regulated and deregulated markets. Initiate, maintain and develop bilateral relationships with potential offtakers, and highlight PV development opportunities centered around their demand needs. Lead negotiation until closing for various offtake structures, including structured PPAs, VPPAs, physical supply for renewable energy/ RECs at optimal pricing and the lowest risk profile. Support from many internal teams is key to this success. Gather and analyze data about consumers, competitors, and market conditions and update Salesforce and management. Convert complex data and findings into understandable tables, graphs, and written reports. Present results to management. Work successfully with development, legal, project finance and technical teams as necessary. Collaborate with other TotalEnergies’ Affiliates on proposals involving US projects, including global RFPs. Support the preparation of all materials for project finance and sell-down activities. Ensure all post execution PPA requirements are delivered and a successful handover to asset management of the PPA whilst still nurturing the relationship to foster repeat business/other synergies.
