Postdoctoral Research Fellow - Freed-Pastor Lab
The Freed-Pastor Laboratory at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School is seeking a highly-motivated, creative, and collaborative postdoctoral research fellow to join the team. The Freed-Pastor lab investigates how pancreatic cancer escapes immune eradication to guide novel therapies for pancreatic cancer patients. The lab utilizes cutting edge technologies (single-cell transcriptomics, spatial transcriptomics, CRISPR engineering) paired with in vivo animal model systems and human patient-derived biospecimens. The candidate should have a strong background in immunology, cancer biology, molecular biology, and/or computational biology. Experience with mouse models, single-cell transcriptomics, multiplexed imaging, and/or spatial transcriptomics are preferred (but not required). The candidate will lead independent research projects, report progress and track deliverables, work to develop innovative approaches to advance the field of tumor immunology and pancreatic cancer treatment, and help to train, supervise and mentor staff as needed.
