Postdoctoral Research Associate - Metabolic Imaging
Bagga Lab is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate to join our team in the Department of Radiology. Successful candidate will contribute to developing innovative, clinically translatable metabolic imaging techniques and designing computational models to analyze magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and spectroscopy data. This position centers on advancing the candidate's expertise in MRI physics and computational data processing, specifically targeting the interactions between the central nervous system (CNS) and muscle during healthy aging and disease. Postdoctoral Research Position in Metabolic Imaging Bagga Lab is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate to join our team in the Department of Radiology. Successful candidate will contribute to developing innovative, clinically translatable metabolic imaging techniques and designing computational models to analyze magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and spectroscopy data. This position centers on advancing the candidate's expertise in MRI physics and computational data processing, specifically targeting the interactions between the central nervous system (CNS) and muscle during healthy aging and disease. Key Responsibilities: Develop new metabolic imaging techniques with a clinical and preclinical focus. Design and implement advanced computational models for MRI and spectroscopy data analysis. Address specific challenges related to CNS-muscle interaction, aging, and disease. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to integrate research findings into clinical and preclinical applications. Qualifications: PhD in Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Strong background in MR physics and/or computational data analysis. Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a track record of successful research projects. Excellent written and verbal communication skills reflected in publications/meeting abstracts. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment. Preferred Experience: Familiarity with magnetic resonance spectroscopy and metabolic imaging. Experience in signal processing and computational modeling.
