Postdoctoral Fellow

Job Summary

The job entails processing and characterizing a new class of materials discovered here we labelled hydroxide derived nanomaterials. Of these, one dimensional titania is where most of the research will be concentrated. The post-doc will make and characterize these materials. More specifically, they will characterize the materials for catalytic and battery applications.

Essential Functions

Carrying research in the lab. Writing papers. Mentoring students and writing proposals. Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

A PhD or Doctorate degree in Materials Engineering or Chemical Engineering is required.

Additional Information

This position is classified as exempt grade I. Compensation for this grade ranges from a minimum of $41,120.00 to a maximum of $61,680.00 per year, but it can vary based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
